I agree and I'm not attempting nor am I denying any one or group the ability to start a city. There is plenty of room to create a city, the problem is, most people WON'T compromise... Instead of moving to a less populated planet where there is plenty of room, they decide to bitch and moan about the cap on the starter planets.
We were going to join with 2 other small guilds on Naboo... the Politician couldn't drop the City Hall before the cap was hit and decided (on his own) to drop it 1300 meters from the Dantooine Imperial Outpost. Upon discussion, our guild chose not to join them and placed one on Rori.
Like I said, groups I've talked to about moving to our city refuse because it's not on Corellia, Naboo or Tatooine. (not to mention the 5k run)
It seems they're alot happier to stomp their feet and complain that it's not fair.

I really dont think this will be much of an issue a few more weeks into the growth.. has anyone added up how much a week a large city costs.??? many of these large ghost towns are going to be a great financial sink for the two or three peeps that are planning on funding these ontop of maitanance of all the ghost houses.. it adds up .. i have 4 people that had to ship out on some army thing for a few weeks.. and i offered to take care of their structures.. its tuff work .. especially with some random maitanace accelerations that seem to happen .. heh i already owe one of them a new factory .... I have over 55 active players in my city ,, and it is still not easy to cover expenses.. so i see ALOT of these ghost town owners.. coming on these boards and crying how it is unfair SOE made cities SOoo expensive
