I don't really PvP, but my understanding is that mine fields are expensive. So I have read that what you do is doctor buff up someone, and have them trip a mine intentionally, heal them up and repeat.

Apparently when buffed you won't usually die from the mine field? I am not sure if that is accurate or not, but I did read that was a method for dealing with mine fields.
