Correction; sorry my mistake; Jaspor has banned every member of my PA who is or who isnt a resident of Constellation from entering the city hall. That is whats known as a dictatorship and whats mroe it is just not tennis!

And, as far as I know, only the Mayor can use the /setprivacy command. And I haven't. I wish you'd stop jumping to conclusions so quickly. Perhaps a CSR or two has reviewed the situation and taken some sort of action.

If you continue to make false accusations perhaps a harassment ticket can be opened on you? Anybody know the policy of harassment on these boards?

I'll say this again for you really slowly: Once /setprivacy was confirmed as an exploit by Plinka. I removed it. I have not and will not be reactivating it. We don't even need it to win this little battle you've brought to our doorstep, you said it yourself.

Jamieaa64, if your friend wants to play a game that allows them to completely avoid all PvP, they should be playing another game. The GCW is a very big part of this game, and that's never going to change. Expecting the environment around you to change simply because it doesn't fit your gaming style is not only unreasonable, but a completely self-centered expectation.

In short: I'm sorry you and/or your friend doesn't like the environment that the game offers. But the only thing that can be done about it is simply going to another game. Expecting anything else is completely unreasonable and unfair.

I'm at work so I cannot laugh too loud, the thread and the resulting posts are moot for the most part. I fault both parties to some degree 1. The threads name would have been far less offensive and inflamatory if it had been something like City Hall Private Exploit... or something along those lines.

2. Just b/c its in the game does not make it right resource providers were wiped out by dupes and people who thought exploiting was harmless. If you play the game play it in the spirit it was meant to do.

Example Roleplay it abit, Your a Mayor of an Imperial outpost used for supplying arms to Imperial groups etc. A new citizenship arrives and band together. It becomes clear they are rebel so use the militia and so forth to blast them. Appoint militia out of your loyal men and unban city hall, go hunting and quell your opponents. Use roleplaying and political manuevering to become a dictator not use game mechanics and flaws to force it upon you.

Simply put the commands will be undone in a short while and it would be best to prevent the angry mob from coming to the hall with torches and vibroswords. Now I do understand all to well that when a guild/mayor puts up a city hall and bothers to scout the location months in advance, secure the posistion and go through all the birthing pains it is not a fun prospect to be voted out by some little weasal. IMO there are more countermeasures you can take that can be used to prevent a coup.

If you kill your own (ex) city you'll not likely be re-elected or viewed well by others. But I must say both parties have some valid points. Where it not for the use of a semi-exploit I wouldmost likely be with Jaspor on this. The thread should have been on the exploit as a whole not a mud slinging campaign.

p.s some poster earlier alluded to a quote by a Japanese "general" right after the Pearl Harbor bombing. The guy you are thinking of Was Admiral Yamato (spelling a bit different I think) and he was also the first officially sanctioned U.S assasination, I believe his plane was gunned down by P-38s. So the political murders also play a role in this profession.

There is a difference between the GCW and an attempt to ruin people hard work. The rebs who are attempting to take over the city make me sick to be a rebel. In fact i believe you are the one cheating when you are attempting to do this to them.

My real issuse isn't with Jasper locking the city hall or with the rebal pa's (I believe they call themselves Dark Haven) I just want to know what Jasper is doing with the money that he is takeing out of the treasury. Yes I am a citizen so I am getting the emails about it but he is not saying what it is for. As a taxpayer of CoC I demand a public inquery about it. I wait your humble reply Mayor Japer. Oh you call email ingame with it too.
