Okay, you asked for it.
1.) Verbal harassment of our members, including calling one of our female members a "ho".

4.) Indicating that you will force your citizens upon our town, not as productive citizens, but as an attempt to execute a hostile takeover of our town. From your actions and words, this may or may not include banning us from the city, or simply just tearing down the city hall. Despite your claims that our town was "just plopped down" and/or "not planned", we have put a lot of time, effort, and resources into what we have. We do not want to see it destroyed.
5.) Deaths of our citizens. Whether this be in the context of the GCW or a Militia strike gone bad, does not matter. Dying is a "hardship" for us, and you have caused some dying.
6.) And now, accusing us of cheating, where the game mechanics currently allow everything that we have done.
I think points 1 and 2 are the really disappointing ones, and the ones, in the long run, that will damage your reputation as "mature" players. And of course, 4 is the one that is going to keep us resilient against your attacks.
We've offered it several times, and I'll say it again:
Pull up some of your houses. We will allow several of your members (but not enough to be the majority) residence in our town, and you can earn XP for your Politician. Your members can go focus on building your own town that you hold so dear. And, when both cities grow and prosper, let the friendly rivalry play itself out.
I'm still baffled as to how this is an unreasonable proposal from your point of view. And now that we have grown to a level 2, we have more room to offer you citizenship.
Can some third party outside observer please tell me if this is ridiculous offer for us to make them?

Oh my goodness the militia attacked me and you died.....and I caused you "hardship" oh give me a break.
Yes the house sign is inapproriate, but take that up with the owner of that structure, not me. Is this really a "hardship" that has denied you some functionality in the game?

how are these people so sure that the present citizens want them in ? and if the present mayor is banning his/her CURRENT citizens from voting himself out, why the hell didthese siegersnot make a post in this forum stating that in some town the mayor was banning his/her own citizens from voting him out because they wanted the siegers in and mayor didnt. why the hell did they post "we were SIEGING THE TOWN but the mayor wont let US vote". ?

This is the first mention anywhere on the boards of the harassment incident. We didn't bring it up. We didn't make it up. It happened.

And now before you justify the name-calling by saying "she spit at him first!" let me point out that the /spit emote was put in by the Developers. Or was that a mistake too, and an exploit? If she wants todisplay her annoyance with your members waltzing around City Hall bragging that it will soon belong to them, does that open her to sexist remarks? Somehow, I don't think it should.
I hope your Rebel brothers realize there is a fine line between rivalry in the GCW and blatant disregard for players' feelings and rights. By the THOUSANDS.
Stop contradicting yourselves and maybe you'd get alittle more sympathy.

Yes it is their right to attempt to make a city. And if they had left their city an outpost there is nothing we could have done about it...But placing a city ESPECIALLY on one of the big 3 planets and not having the manpower to back it up was a HUGE mistake. If you place a city in one of these places you have to be able to Back it up...Most people who had Actually planned their cities before patch day probably could have dealt with this kind of tactic. Placing a city hall and plopping down 12 houses was probably not a smart move if they wanted to actually keep control of their dictatorship...

its just like what would it be if germany said belgium doesnt have the right to prosper because theyre less crowded.

But no, that is not the case. Automatic residence completely castrates the zoningrights command and you know it and are exploiting that function. Is the an actual game exploit? I don't know, perhaps the Devs would like to look at the events thus far and reconsider their choices. And unless you are a correspondant, please don't presume to tell me it is.
1. We would like to know who apparently said this. we do not condone harrasment like that. And of course we would like some kind of proof. But if it did happen I would apologize. As far as I know the signs on our houses should only be commenting on the /privacy we will change any offending signs if they exist if they are ours.

3. If the devs believe the automatic citizenship on expansion is a problem then I suspect that will be fixed soon also as I hope the /privacy exploit is. Plinka might be better informed on this. One thing she did say though. /privacy most certainly should not be part of the city hall abilities and she is the correspondent.

I would go the other way, zoning rights only promotes private cities, get rid of zoning rights and the door exploit and the problem is solved.

join a community and get your own private town then. in all over the WORLD there are closely knit communities who are not welcoming to the outsiders.
i withdraw from these topic as it is becoming a discussion of a hassle between two opposing pas.
however, i believe that i have made my point that SIEGEINGand TAKEOVER are in NO WAY democratical issues, and no game official should approve of or condone such acts of VIOLATION.

I did do exactly that, I am building an open town, or at lest trying too. Once I set down that Town Hall it is not really my city anymore. Anything can happen.
Good example Unity. I was about to trash your post, when you said that. I live in Canada which has a larger land mass then the US but only the population of California. By LordMaxx's argument, Canada should be taken over by the US because we can't fill our land. Don't think the rest of the world would support it.
