Thread: 20 citizens, but only partial upgrade?
Greetings,
Our city, Vela, on Radiant has 20 citizens according to the management terminals. In other words, we qualify for level 2 upgrade and we even got the mail saying we made it to level two today. However, everything else in game seems to indicate we are still an outpost!!!
Maybe this is because the mayor doesn't count, but why does it say 20 citizens when it's only 19? I only got 1900 xp for the votes too.
Anyone ever experienced this before? Anydevs reading this?
Well, the lack of XP isn't the worst part of it. I can live with that.
We had the same
20 Citizens
email to say we have rank2
no upgrade
Thanks for that clarification, Siddalee. I thought this might have been the case.
We had 20 citizens, but only 1900XP, but I should mention that we were upgraded to a Villiage without problems.
Same here.
Esperanza, a Radiant city, had 33 residents (as by the terminal) and it still is a outpost.
Our mayor got the mail saying we grew to rank 2, and she got the politician exp, but the city did not increase.
Let's hope it grows with next server reset.
Our city also qualified, but did not grow. Sterling Isle on Starsider. 23 citizens, got the XP, got the e-mail, didn't get the upgrade. Perhaps with the server reboots, it will clear up?? ![]()
Same issue, Aegis, city on Sunrunner, has 21 citizens, i got the message saying that city reached rank 2, but the terminal still shows rank 1 outpost, i cant place more than 3 mission terminals, radius is still 150m, it still shows "You enter Aegis (Outpost)" when you enter city limits.
So, except this email, it appears that our cities are still rank 1. The explanation "mayor doesnt count" doesnt work, because i have 21, so even without me, that's a 20 people city.
I hope this will be fixed quickly.

my city grew. i had 21 residents. i got 2k even xp and the increse in size. all worked as advertised
Just slightly off topic
But where was it advertised, that the vote of the mayor doesn't count twords the XP?*

We had 20 citizens and worked fine, took about 5 minutes to process the upgrade and give exp. I then ran back to the city hall which had nothing in it, no terminals, no furniture - nothing. So I tried to camp and couldn't and just /quit out. When I can back I was rolled back and still in Deeja Peak. After making the run twice I finally got us on the map.
