Thread: This is not a petition but I WANT MY 1 VOTE EXP!
Ok to put this into perspective, The President of the USA can vote for himself, the Mayor of any Town/city in the USA can vote for himself. In SWG the Mayor can vote for himself EXCEPT he doesnt advance himself at ALL with it. He doesnt get the 100 exp he SHOULD have gotten.
SOE you have made it very difficult already to get Politician EXP, and frankly I just found out 2 mins before the update that I wouldnt get exp for my own VOTE and it has thrown our entire plans off. So This is what im asking. I want my 100 EXP! Thats all I want. I dont think thats too much to ask, Getting exp for your own vote might be the ONLY chance a novice politician will have once we start lvling up to higher lvls.
Ive even attempted to convert faction to Politician EXP but nope that dont work either. So can we get exp for our own vote pls? thank you
PS. I posted this on SWG Discussion as well, but this warrents posting here i think.
Cheers,
Seriously! At no point during the two months I have researched the politician did I read anything about my own vote not counting. The only thing I've heard is that the mayor will count as a resident. THIS IS VERY MISLEADING AND DECEITFUL. We should get our xp pronto. We had exactly 30 members and I was going to train 3 boxes but to my disappointment I only got 2900xp!!! I AM SO PISSED!
I think it's only fair that we get that 100xp very soon. This might be the stupidest thing I've ever seen.
yah sigh..i have 1900 instead of the 2000 i should have
yay one box.
gayness.
just like my BH

This is a bug, no doubt. Seems universal, and should be hunted down and squashed. Be sure to /bug it in game if you haven't.
Somehow I was under the impression, even after she said this that I could. I have 30 residents but 29 votes.
Plinkawrote:
Q: Can a mayor vote for themselves?
A: I've voted for myself, but only when there's been an opponent. I'm not sure if the vote counted or not.
Q: Does a mayor need home in the town they are mayor of?
A: No, the city hall is considered their declared residence.
/bump
I would like a dev response if possible. Not likey, but possible..maybe
If it says I have 40 votes in my status window (which wasn't put in there for "good looks" but to frikin' inform) and I am told 100XP per vote ... I want those 100XP per vote ... and not only that ... it it says 20 citizens ... then I expect to advance to next level .. .apparently there are severe problems with these issues.
I for one am totally against petitions, they never seam to get something ... but this bug, or misinformation, or lie ... it has to be fixed.
1900 xp stead of 2000xp, I sent in a ticket on it because its stupid that you can count as a citizen and help increase your city lvl but you can't count when it comes to your own xp. Everyone send in a ticket so we get or 100 xp back.
