Thread: 31 Citizens, 2800xp... Que?

I'm the Mayor of our PA City and have been keeping up to date with all the postings on here about the voting and XP issues. Now, I understand the bug/feature or whatever it is that drops a single vote from your XP.

However, I spent a lot of time to make sure I had at least 31 citizens in my City before my City Maintenance calculations on Saturday night. I was asuuming from the messages here that I would have got 3000xp and be able to train up 3 tier 1 boxes.

Now, when the votes got tallied, I only received 2800xp.

The only thing I can think of to perhaps explain this is that a few of the citizens redeeded their houses in the City after they had declared residence and put them back down. They then definitely re-declared as soon as their 24 hour timer was up. I also made sure these people voted for me at the terminal, just in case.

Anyone have the same or similar thing happen to them?

RantMallory, I'm sorry you had/have a problem with your XP. I know there are still bugs with this system, and I'm sure they will get fixed eventually.

I just hadn't read anywhere that anyone suffered the same problems with XP as I had. Whilst it's harsh from your point of view, you seem to have been hit with a bug that get's you no XP at all, but I only lost 2 votes (plus the 1 vote defecit).

Theory: A citizen may only be able to vote once per X.

Did any of your citizens have votes counted in other elections?

Hmmm, you may be onto something there PSchirf.

We had a new member join our PA this week who I believe may have been resident in another City on a different planet. He has 3 accounts, but only 2 of his characters placed houses in our City prior to our vote on Saturday night. I'll ask him when I see him if he remembers exactly when he declared residence.

Thanks

i had 22 citizens, and got 1900 xp, so looks like another bug since we both lost 200 xp exactly :/

hrm PSchirf, may be right, we had a husband and wife move to ourPA from another PA, that would be an explanation for it
