Thread: 2 City Hall crit failures, Techno City, town since release, doesn't make it in time. 22 mins.
Techno City
A city that has been there since release, is now not an official city thanks to Naboo cap. 22 minutes into the Great Race. Had the map up, was green, left clicked, too late. Now, the map doesn't come up anymore.
I kindly ask that the Naboo City cap be increased. I really can't express in words my frustration with this moment. For the sake of others, I ask that their cap be increased too.
2 Crit Failures on City Hall, 3rd was ok. Believe me, I regret that bigtime. High end 30's station.
I wish all those that were able to make an Eclipse Naboo city the best of luck. We tried.
Actually, we've been trying since release. Those that have seen the streets of Techno City for so long know of this. I look forward to telling the 3 PAs that wanted to move in post patch (thinking we could be more creative with the new "placement ease") that they have no city here. Not to mention the fantastic conversations we get to have amongst the 60+ residents.
Kindly increase the cap for all those great cities out there that didn't make it.
Come to 6300, -3600 Moenia, Naboo Eclipse to see what was........and hopes to be........a city.
Fair warning.
I think I'll resort to becoming a Jedi as my back up plan, since I wasn't able to make the cities our alliance wanted. Remember how long ago we hear about "Make your own cities, become Politician?" Years.
Listen to me. Can you believe it? I'm actually saying I'll try to become a Jedi since I can't be a Politician. We weren't given a chance to have what would have been a 100+ community for a city with the3 PAs moving in....we're already at 55-60. Its nuts.

Why give up? Talk to your potential residents and talk them into moving en masse to another city, PAs and all. At the end of the week, have them vote you into office. You are trying to be a politician. How many politicians do you see forming new nations, versus the number trying to change existing ones. So, don't give up, just change the existing cities. Hell, it might be fun, they may see it as an invasion and try to defend themselves and you could end up with an interstate war on Naboo. How cool would that be?
2 words - Zoning Restrictions
I like Palor's 2 words.
How about these 4 words: Highly advanced interior decorator.
Dude Abido
I critically failed twice in a row also
at first I thought there had to have been a schematic error...
or maybe it was just Eclipse... but nope.. I failed twice.. and just gave up
whatever

I just read a post from Thunderheart on SWG Discussion.
Player City caps for ALL cities are being removed by first week of December at the latest.
This makes me very very happy.
The cap of 10 cities per core planet is quite unfair in my opinion. On Bloodfin, Naboo filled up in less than 1 hour. Anyone who wanted a city there who did not sit around and wait for hours till the servers came back up had no chance of making their own city.
And even though my guild and I did wait for hours for the server to restart, and even though we had all the components for 2 city halls pre-made and placed our characters in position to get politician as fast as possible last night, we still were not able to run toour city and place the hall in time.
Please raise the caps on the core planets to 25 cities, so everyone who worked so hard to get their own city at least has a chance.

December!? I cannot wait that long.
Besides... Don't forget, the devs have promised alot of different things at some point, and haven't come out for weeks or months after the expected time.
It would have been nice if that limit was not put into play at all, what was it's purpose anyway? And why will it take until December to remove it?
