Is it really goint to take 4 months (1 box a week) to master politican. Becuase you only get your voting xp once a week and you can max out on xp? If so that is the longest time ever!!

According to plinka politician experience isnt capped. So you can get as much as you like. Hence you can get more than 2k in first week.

One thing that the xp system does do is to ensure that you have a job as Mayor as long as you dont get stupid with it. No one is going to vote out a higher level mayor with all those skills for a noob mayor with none. It would be foolish to lose all the perks just because of trivial matters. Hehe although it emails all the city people when you make a withdrawl from the city coffers. No embezzling gonna happen here. That would be a nice feature to have in RL to keep tabs on your local politician =).

Yup
Plinka said he got 24 votes on his first week and got 2400 politician experience. Hence he concluded that there was no cap on politician experience. Correct me if im wrong plinka...

Actually SHE concluded that she doesn't know what the caps are, but that they aren't the 2x caps seen in other professions.

Actually, I was kinda hoping to see some of those skills added. Embezzlement/Slush Fund, City Contract, Bribe Planetary Governor ...
... I think it's silly Politicians can't act like politicians
