By allowing only the mayor to be the admin in the City Hall, it is really gating some creative minds from decorating the place. I know in our case, we have about 3-4 people who are very good decorators, however the Mayor is not, and unless we use the /transferstructure "bug" we won't be able to decorate the place.

There is honeslty NO downside to allowing the mayor to grand Admin privledges to someone, the only downsides are the ones that naturally come with giving someone admin to any structure, you just have to trust the person.

The 'head admin' aka owner should always be the mayor, but there should be an admin list just like any other structure.

Yeah, I'd love to have structure admin as well so people can place things. Norrel is a lot better at decorating than I am.

No. Just be in the hall.

This command works with any structure. The format is:

/setpermission type name
Type is one of:
entry admin ban hopper (I think I'm forgetting one)

Name is the name of the person, they don't have to be nearby either. If you omit the name, it will add or remove your current target. If you have no target, it will bring up the window like you'd get off a structure management terminal.

I dont usually sign these but I do agree. I personally am Mayor and a good decorator so my city will be ok It would be nice though to have others on admin.

oh yeah someone posted that you can do /setpermadmin 'name' and it works or some variation of that command. Havent tried it myself though.

Know what else is great? Type /setprivacy while in your hall
