I'd like to get an idea of how big other cities are, so please post your town numbers here

Yes, they are actually citizens. We're running out of space pretty quick though :-) I think we can fit another 12 in there which is my goal. I'd like to have 55 citizens, hopefully giving me 5.5K XP so that I can get 2/1/1/0. That's what we're grinding towards, XP for me :-)
As for house placement, after we hit level 4 city we'll re-arrange our city into the shape of a star, or possibly the Talus symbol, something unique and cool.

That's a good idea, except I don't think you'll get more than 2k xp the first week. No one seems to know though. I guess we'll know Thursday.

We are not trying to pack everyone in together to start since we do not want to have to rearrange everything afterwards. I believe that there will be a 2k xp cap, but even if there isn't andwe loose some xp to this, it will not make a significant difference - most of the crucial "gating" requirements are from the city tiers.
