Curious to know if this cert is still broken, and if so has any comment been made on the issue by the dev's or the communication sent to the devs from this forum ?

Yes, it's still broken.

No comment from the Devs.

I get the feeling they can't decide where to put this gun (when they get around to deciding anything). I mean, the broken cert is at the most basic level. However, if it worked, it seems like it would be a good specialty gun. The stats look like they are average for crappy resources, so a good one should be nothing to sneeze at. Not to mention it's an energy based AR1 pistol. The other thing that makes me think they originally thought it should be higher up the tree is the fact that it requires a master weaponsmith to craft one.

Of course, this all means nothing since the cert is worth less than bantha poodoo.
