Just got trained on stopping shot, tried it a few times, nothing really drastical happen, what is the deal? Is this normal? what is the best time to use it? I use aim before I use this move but still, nothing special happen, is this normal or it's broke? thanks for your input.

Hmmm...for myself after I got "Stopping Shot" I think I used it about a dozen times and then realized that the only *stopping* involved with that particular special was that I stopped using it

you guys are missing what stopping shot is used for. it is for the expert bh master pistoleers to spam in pvp becuase they shoot it at 1 shot per second with thier scatters. so you see stopping shot does have a purpose

It does higher, but random ham damage, so mobs don't really go down any faster, I'm still using BS2 for mobs. But I useSS on lairs since all damage goes into the single pool there.

I use stoppingshot immediately after pistol whip to take advantage of the knockdown damage bonus. It's about the only way that pistoleers are ever gonna see damage over 3k for one attack. Just did an 800 damage stoppingshot on some poor guy earlier today in PvP, and my FWG5 is nice, but not that nice.

I never get Knocdown bonus damage.. Im under the impresion its not in game.. and if it is Pistol Melee D 2 should rock peoples worlds with KD bonus ... know what i mean?

use disarming shot instead for lairs. Much lesser HAM cost and doubles the dmg you see in the spam.

Best way to get damage on KD is to use a macro so you don't miss the ultra-short window of opportunity.

Stopping shot is currently only useful if someone or a mob is almost dead, or very very weak, then it might save time with a one shot kill. For anything that takes 2+ hits to kill, you're better off using Kip up shot until you get fan shot, or double tap if you like the extra accuracy over damage. Hope that helps.

We're asking to get stopping shot boosted to something useful, alas, no positive changes have been made to pistoleers since release, I would not hold breath and such
