Thread: Area attack with a pistol is worthless
First of all pistols don't exactly deal out loads of damage per hit, its the damage over time that makes a pistoleer dangerous. I think everyone would agree with that.
So can someone tell me how inthe hell an area effect, doing minimal dmg to multiple targets(when fixed) is suppose to be worth anything besides a quick trip to the cloning center? I can't believe they toasted fan shot and turned our only quick, high damage shot into a pile of bantha dung.
Oh wait, don't tell me, I'm suppose to become a creature handler too, no thanks. I'm within days(2 boxes)of master pistoleer. In all likelyhood I'll go ahead and grind through it without the best shot now and then quickly surrender master pistoleer. The only reason I can see finishing it out is because of the whole FS theory on mastering more than one profession.
