What exactly is the "STUN" type of domage (the tangle pistol deals those type of domage)?

What is the difference betwine the DL44 and the DL 44Metal (other than the "look" of the pistol)?

a last question, why do you choose one pistole, and not another (talking about non-sliced pistol)?

Stun damage is just a different type of damage to get through resists. The difference between the DL44 and the DL44 metal is just that the DL44 metal can be a little better. I think so anyway, I have really made any since I've been a master smith.

When I choose a pistol, hmm. Well, damage, speed, ap rating. I use lots of different types of pistols since I can make them. The main threepistols peopleuse are Scout Blaster:Its quick, energy based, FWG5, it has the best max damage, heat based, and DX2-Its ap1 and acid damage. I think a Masters DH17 is better thanthe scouts, as the min damage can be around 10-15 points better, and the max a little better, with very close to the same speed.

Another thing to think about is the speed of the pistol, and your speed mods. I explain this to people who are buying my weapons a lot.(Or try to explain it) Basically, I'll sacrifice speed for damage, sinceour weapons are very low speed anyway, and with the speed mods, you'll get more dps with higher damage, since you HIT THE SPEED CAP.I definetly go for damage slices/powerups. I wonder if your someone I talked to in game tonight, becuase Im totally repeating myself here.

There are also some pistols no one really uses since they sort of suck. Like the SR combat pistol, which is like a big slow scout with AP1. Its either that or the Striker, cant remember right now. Anyway, always good to be able to do different types of damage. Hope this helps.

Well stun damage is a... type of damage. Just like every other type of damage. Few things are resistant to stun damage though, which can make it useful where lesser pistols would not be.

HAM cost is still important to me in choosing a pistol, which is why I like the scout blaster so much. But in general for me it's tradeoff between damage per second, and HAM cost.

AP=Armor Peircing

Like stated above. No differance in the Dl44's. Just eye candy. Like most people I keep a few pistols hotkey'd. Four here, Scout, Tangle, Fwg5, Dx2. Whatever I may run into, I have the weapon for the job. The Tangle pistol came in real handy on Lok when my party ran into a very large 22k HAM dragon (It was only vunerable to stun damage).
