Thread: Better use for Disarm 2
It is an attack that is "supposed" to affect the other players weapon, whoopty doo. Where is the creativity in this ability? The other playerwill lose more points off his weapon if I don't fire a single shot and allow him to fire away on me. I see no purpose inhaving climbedup the Pistoleer ladder to get this lame shot. It is a bait and switch type situation. You allowed all these players to climb up a ladder under the false pretense of abilities that will be taken away when they get there.
I now feel incredibly stupid for not having taken advantage of the Carbinier tree. They were totally borked when the game came out, so nobody wanted to take a chance. Well, on 9/4/03 they became the best. They can do almost 4k damage to some targets, and have ranged knockdown and innumerable effect shots. We have a whip, bleed and a semi-powerful stopping shot that does 2.5k max. Can't say that carbines are slower, I have a Short-Carbine and a Laser Carbine both at 2.0-1.8 spd. Guess all Pistoleers were duped into thinking this was a great class.
So, that said, a suggestion for disarm shot 2. It DISARMS the target for a certain amount of time. WOW, how about that, a shot that does what it says. The person hit with DISARM 2 is DISARMED and can not use a ranged attack for a certain period of time. Still lame for PvE, but at least it would do something.I would hate to climb ALL the way up an elite ladder to get nothing but a title and a borked attack.
