You'll have to be in a well organized group.

So if you have three people (a,b, and c) it might go like this

1. a,b,c all fire

2. mob charges

3. a uses covering fire

4. all fire

5. mob charges

6. b uses covering fire

7. all fire

8. mob charges

9. c uses covering fire

rinse repeat... a well organized group of 3 should be able to do what we used to be able to solo

Good question, hmm:

1.) /kneel

2.) /aim

3.) /Bleedingshot 2

4.) /bleedingshot 1

5.) /coverfire (suppression I guess also?)

6.) /pray to the SOE Gods that he doesn't get back up and trample over you within 30 seconds.

Sounds simple enough, you think the SOE Gods have ear's for pistoleers?

2 words... Not Smuggler. OrCreature Tank. maybe Zerg Rush?

Seriously though, the answer IS group tactics. People have gotten too used to taking things out solo that we had no business fighting that way.

- Organized use of KD/posture changeskills in a group so you can rotate the timers (assuming the person above is correct that each person can issue a KD. Are we sure it's a timer on the skill or an immunity timer on the target? I haven't heard.).
- Creaturesto act as a damage sponge.
- Skill combinations. I read somewhere that some of the status attacks still mix well together.

Anyone else? I'm by no means a master of group tactics. Enlighten us!

Warning shot is viable but I have no idea if you have this or not. Again, if we're limiting the attacks to KNOWN attacks that a pistoleer would have the I'd say you're out of luck.

But if we suddenly decided to throw in arbitrary lines of attack like ranged support then I'd say scrap all of that and get smuggler's feign death.

My fight this morning with 3 fambaa (Larry, Moe, and Curly) was like this:

healthshot2 larry

healthshot1 larry

fanshot larry

healthshot2 moe

healthshot1 moe

fanshot moe

healthshot2 curly

healthshot1 curly

fanshot curly

feign death

You really only need 1 box in dirty fighting to get this. Lay down, take a nap, read the comic strip in the paper, look up to see 3 dead fambaas.

Timer is TARGET based, so once a target has been posture changed it is immune for 30 sec.

Oh dear lord that is pathetic. Feign death and watch them bleed to death? At least with the KD/posture change shots you were DOING something. I need to stop reading thes blasted boards. Everytime they take a lame "strategy" out, I see the garbage that gets left in and get a little more disillusioned. I know it's still early in the life of SWG, But these are some pretty glaring balance issues. Maybe I'm missing the big picture, but the fixes seem to be pretty haphazard and poorly considered.

Well you could do fambaas one at a time without feign death. But me personally I'd rather do 3 fambaas all at once using 9 pistol shots. But I'm peculiar like that.

This is because SOE are Cowboy's. They shot from the hip to take down a problem they see quickly, not thinking of the problems it will cause down the road. They see people are abusing KD, so they nerf it. Fine, people come up with a new strategy, lets say BH's eyeshot, SOE see's this and does a quick fix and nerfs it. Fine, people adapt and take up smuggler and do the bleed shot and feign death, SOE see's that and does a quick fix....And it just keeps on running this way, they nerf one thing and we change to something else, then they nerf that too once they see us abusing it. By the time their done nerfing, we'll be using waterguns and our specials will be healing people instead of hurting them. They need to put down the rules, if they don't want us mixing class's and "molding our character's as we see fit", then they need to take away skill points. If they do not want us mixing pistol line with any other profession then they should make it so we can't do that instead of nerfing everything that we try to make work for us. But SOE will not do that because they refuse to look ahead, they only want to do the quickfix, like cowboys, shooting down problems quickly instead of looking past it and aiming for the real problem.

That's why you always stay one step ahead of the game.
