I had heard awhile ago that dodge would hardly ever work, even with all of the dodge bonuses. Is this true? And if not, do you guys think dodge is a worth getting over the defense line?

I have no noticed a change in my dodging, and I'm almost master in that line. Only +5 to go for dodge and I'm not seeing that big of a change. I do dodge, but it is pretty rare.

Now, I actually did see a good amount of dodging happening when I began training in unarmed combat.

Dodge hardly ever works.

And I have no way of knowing if defense vs. state effect really works, since it didn't happen all the time anyway.

i noticed no change in pve but in pvp i dodge commando shots fairly frequently

also as a master pistoleer someone asked me recently did i have tka defense because he can never seem to hit me for full damage

so mathematically i have no answer, but the defenses "seem" to work for me in pvp
