How many tissues does it take to make a:
FWG5
Scout
SR combat
DX2

FWG5 - ONE
Scout - ONE
SR combat - not sure, but my guess is ONE as well
DX2 - FIVE (four + one for schematic)
Lesson? Don't waste your tissues on a DX2.

I'm pretty sure SR-Combat takes 2 power handlers, so you'd need 3 tissues - 1 for the schematic, 2 for the gun.
A good way to do this though would be to get a bunch of tissues with the same serial number and be efficient.
If you did it all at once, you could make 2 DX2s with only 9 tissues. You can also save one if you did an SR-Combat and DX2 at once, needing only 7 tissues instead of the 8 you'd need otherwise.
And FYI - the other "useful" weapons we have - DH17, Tangle, and Striker - all take only 1 as well.

guild weapon smith told me that you cant make the striker pistol with krayt tissue since it doesnt use a blaster barrel or something like that

I was running from memory and too lazy to go back to www.swgcraft.com to confirm the values 
The Striker can be enhanced with a high velocity feed mechanism (because it uses a projectile feed mechanism), but not with Krayt Tissue (because it does NOT use a blaster power handler). While I'm on that web site, I'll spit out some hard numbers (assuming all the schematic info on the site is correct, which I think it is.)
The info below is the maximum amount of enhancements that can be added to that weapon. You are never required to use both Krayt Tissue (KT) and a High Velocity Feed Mechanism (HVFM) in the same weapon, but it's nice to be able to since the HVFM will give you another 20 damage. If you're going to add any KT, you need the number specified plus 1 (for a schematic), and they need to have the same serial number.
Oh boy. Like we didn't have enough to complain about before! Our "best" weapon - the DX2, requires FOUR Krayt Tissues to enhance, and it can ONLY be enhanced with Krayt Tissue. Both the Scatter and Launcher pistols can be doubly enhanced with both Krayt Tissue and High Velocity Feed Mechanisms, and only require a single Krayt Tissue.
