Thread: pistoleer worth it?

I am on my path to master pistoleer and I do a lot of PVP. What I want to know is master pistoleer really worth it or am I just wasting my time. Any help on this issue would be appreciated.

Only for the pride to be Master Pistoleer, I would answer YES.
If you want to be the best PvPer in the game, you should also get Master Carbineer or Rifleman or Pistol BH line and you'll see your efficiency enhanced a lot.

Having some commando friends and being a BH myself, it seems that the Launcher and Scatter Pistols offer more variety than just the dx2. It seems strange to me that a marksman gets to climb the ladder and use like 10+ kinds of pistols, but someone trusy adept in the art (a pistoleer) it stuck with the dx2 most of the way. Until they fix that, i would recommend BH Pistols or Novice commando.

You're completely wasting your time. There isn't a single special in the Pistoleer tree that is worth climbing for. Get BH, Commando, Combat Medic, or Rifleman if you want to PvP. Or get Smuggler Dirty Fighting and then dabble in Pistoleer for the speed/accuracy while picking up a second profession. If you spread your points around right, you can get BH Pistol, the Smuggler Dirty Fighting line, and a couple of boxes of Pistoleer for speed.
