I see pistolers saying that they do over 1000 dmg in pvp, thats 4000 regular dmg. May i ask waht gun/special you guys are using?

It would definitely be a FWG5 made with Krayt tissue, and likely sliced with a maximum damage increase power up. And there's one more thing they may be doing, but I wont say here.

And also using a high velocity projectile feed, and also being a smuggler and using Last Ditch.

What's a high projectile velocity feed?

I use a Krayt Scatter that is a 135-275 dmg, 1.8 dly without any powerup. With powerup, you can add 33% (yes, a third) max dmg. This is 360 dmg.

Regular attacks hit for 360 * 1.5 max = 540. Stopping shot can then be 540 * 4.7 = 2538.

Now, if I use this after a succesfull KD (lol) the dmg takes a modifier (dunno how much exactly but a nice one btw) and I think I can easily reach more than 3K5 per hit, with a Scatter Pistol. This is almost 1k in pvp.

So I think it is possible to hit for 1k with a very nice Krayt FWG5 but more likely to be resisted for 75 with an average compostie armor.

Can some PLEASE explain what'sa high projectile velocity feed, krayt component and what-not? When I ask for special orders from weaponsiths I want information to know what to ask for. A well-informed customer = happy customer and relieved weaponsmith.

Its actually a high velocity projectile feed mechanism, not a high projectile feed mechanism.

You get it as loot off of high end NPC's I believe and it increases fire rate. (I don't know about damage)

The krayt tissue is looted off of Krayt Dragons and it gives a bonus to max attack and speed.

High velocity feeder is a +20 to max damg (on average) that can be used along with Krayt tissue in the crafting of some pistols. Usually they are reserved for scatter pistols, since the DX2 does not use a feeder in crafting.

They tend to dropvery rarelyfrom Nym's Pirates on Lok or from Bounty Hunter Missions (when the target is a Nym's Pirate). Sometimes you can find em on the bazaar when a noob doesn't know what they have.

They also drop +20 capacitors as well, but these do not stack with krayt tissue.

If you have a really nice tissue (+45 or higher) it's a good idea to wait until you have a +20 feeder so you can get the best scatter.

My scatter is 142-398 (Tissue, feeder, 32% dmg slice)

well stry'ker on eclipse just made me an FWG5 69-600 with powerups I did some testing last night and its was doing 4368 in PvE with stopping shot, supposedly last ditch is alot more powerfull so doing 1000 in pvp shouldnt be that hard.

Doing 1000 in PvP with a pistol is possible without using any dropped enhancement.
