At the moment im working up the tree for pistol stances and grips im at double tap now and with advanced in the combat xp line. is it worth it to just go down to pistol whip and is fan shot worth it going up in that line? Hows the damage on Fan shot and Stopping shot. is it any good at all compared to Last Ditch for Smuggler? Please would like some advice.

Just get pistolwhip and then go up the Smuggler: Underworld line. Low Blow and Panic Shot are way better than anything in Pistoleer now that disarm2 is nerfed.

If you have the skill points to spare, go up the Bounty Hunter Pistol line. Tons of speed and two nice specials.

Fan Shot and Stopping Shot are only useful if you don't have Smuggler or BH, in my opinion. They're just random HAM attacks ... no state change, not focused on a single pool.

Unfortunatly Philosopher is right Pistoleer offers NOTHING better then Smuggler/BH pistol lines. Im 3 boxes from Master Pistoleer (1/4/4/4) and I am starting to feel way underpowered when battling next to my Smuggler and BH friends. Even our Elite Class weapons suck. Im just hoping that we get fixed. Becasue as it stands we are not masters of our chosen weapon. Any BH or Smugglers that come here and tell us to stop complaining obviously have no clue on the issues of our class. I use Fan Shot as my Pistoleer attack of choice. Boring.
