Does pistoleer have any shots that cause dizziness or any other state effecting shots?

None.
We do have a melee ranged knockdown though (pistol melee defense 1, 7m range)

Yep its fun, last night I was attacked by a person who of course spammed dizzy on me untill I fell down, this person promptly killed me so I ran back out after them to bleed them to death. Low and behold dizzy was spammed on me again rinse and repeat, back at the cloning facility. I changed to my combat channel just to see how many shots I did manage to get off, and I managed to get off 5 shots as compared to 30+ and one of those was the shot that I get to lead with after dying. I guess I wasnt really aggrivated by dying or anything untill I saw exactly how I was killed, I mean if it works fine use it but somethings got to be fixed there, at least make my resistance against those shots actually work.

Multi-step solution:
A) STOP nerfing everything until other things are fixed.
B) Fix the defense vs xxxx skills.
C) IMPROVE armor (it's rarely used and barely useful currently and could use a boost anyway) so that it works like this example:
- You're hit with a KD from an energy weapon.
- Your armor has 30% effectiveness vs energy.
- ** CURRENTLY ** 30% of the damage is blocked (assuming AP1 vs AR1 - looking at effectiveness only).
- ** CHANGE ** Since 30% of the damage from the KD shot was absorbed, add a 30% chance that the KD is blocked as well.
- Make that work for all attack types (posture down, stun, dizzy, blind, KD).
D) THEN after doing that, address remaining balance issues - the need for timers or increased resistance or increased HAM costs or anything like that.

Yep, pistoleer is gimped right now. Just get pistolwhip (the 7m knockdown) and try another profession until the Devs fix us.
