It's not that it's overpowered... it's not. However, it IS extremely bottom heavy. Especially with the change to Disarming Shot 2, you get the best 3 perks of the entire Pistoleer tree just by taking Novice Pistoleer (use of the DX2 and Health Shot 2) and Special Abilities I (melee defense I). These two boxes provide 85% of the power of the profession. The other 15%? Well, we got that when we were still Marksman... it's called Body Shot 2.
As long as the defensive bonuses of the Stances line remain ineffectual and the abilities given by the other two lines remain broken or marginal at best... there's no reason to go above Novice + Special Abilities I and *maybe* the stances line for Fan Shot/Stopping Shot. The rest of the tree is inconsequential but for bragging rights. Which is just sad.
