Pistoleer Archive

Less than one camping box from Master Ranger and 2.5 boxes from Master Pistoleer. But someone give me some reason why not to drop Ranger and grab BH pistol line. Please. Any good news, rumors, anything about fixing Pistol a little bit?

Pistoleer:

-- No status effects

-- No ranged KD

-- Soon-to-be 30 second suppression delay

Pistoleers lose easily to Smugglers due to low blow, and BH due to -blind- eye shot. I don't wantanyone's specials to be nerfed to 'fix' this, I just think Pistoleer is a bit lame at the moment and needs some TLC to polish it up. I didn't think so till I switched form PvE to PvP, and got a better understandingin what works best. No, I didn't get killed once and spaz, I've been fighting and observing for about three weeks, and can definitely say Pistoleer just isn't on an even basis. I'm not whining, I'm just slightly disappointed that I have to dabble.

ANY good news before I drop skills? I've been looking but see nothing on the horizon.

Unfortunatly the only way to become viable at Pistoleer in its current state is to take up Smuggler or BH to get good pistol specials. Master Pistoleer is a joke. People are all crying nerf.. I say nerf what? We already are less powerful then then hybrid pistol dabbler classes. All the nerf criers have never speced master pistoleer and all have some form of smuggler/BH pistol line.

Bleh.

Sorry man, no good news here, and in fact all signs point to the big nasty nerf bat taking a chunk out of our asses. The devs seem to think that making a class weaker is better than making other classes more desireable. Bah.

Well, I still have a couple weeks to finish pistoleer before deciding. Hmmm. See what I mean? Trying to find a reason to stick with it. Argh. If the tripwire works as advertised it would be a fun toy against Imps. Maybe I'll drop the dodge line and get BH pistol line. Or maybe I should listen to Yoda again.
