hi, i play on tempest which is a relatively new server, so i was just wondering what the good dx2's are like on other servers. please list stats of the best non krayt, unsliced and not powered up dx2 in your galaxy.

the best i could find on tempest is 102- 158 2.5

p.s. i repeat non-krayt, unsliced and no powerup stats please.

I have one on Sunrunner its 118-244 speed of 2.1 and an fwg5 65-357 speed of 1.6

I have several unsliced dx2 pistols that have min 120 max 187 damage capabilities.

Best I have is a 103-160 dmg, 2.4 attack speed.

I'm also looking for something better.

Best non krayt I remember seeing was 106-166 damage. don't remember speed.

Sorry to be so noobish but what does it mean when a gun is a krayt?

A Krayt is a dragon out in Tatooine. You can loot Krayt scales off them, and give them to a weaponsmith to "enhance" weapon production. Which usally results in better damage, and lower HAM costs. (someone correct me if im wrong)

because Krayt tissue is not that common, it will cost, on my server, around 300k+ for just one Krayt enhanced weapon.

krayt weapons have higher damage AND lower speed

A Krayt DX2 needs 5 tissues (not scales, those are for armor) as the gun needs 4 identical factory made power handlers, and you will need 1 tissue to make the manufacturing schematic with.

Can't say the best un-sliced non-krayt DX I've seen, but there was a screenie of a 318 max damage one in this forum some time ago ( it was pupped and HAD to be krayt)

krayt scales increase damage and improve speed. krayt scales vary in quality they could increase damage from 30 to even 100 and speed can be reduced by .2 to .7. depending on the quality of the scale the price varies. also different weapons require different quantities of krayt scales for instance a krayt fwg5 requires only 1 krayt scale whereas a krayt dx2 requires something riduculous like 4 or 5 scales. hence a krayt dx2 would cost much more then a krayt fwg5 ( assuming the same quality of scales has been used in both weapons.
