Hey, i just deceided to join the ranks of pistoleer and alreay like that we have a vartiey of weapons that do different type of dmg. I just got pistol 4 and am about 25% the way though noice pistoleer. I went looking for guns today and realized i dont know what the best is: i alreay bought

Fwg5: 54-174 (2.1spd) (unsliced) - cost =10k

Is this good or is there better. I was wondering if some fellow pistoleers would post the stats on the guns you have bought to give me an idea...I am looking for info on the Tango, fwg5, SR combat pistol, Dx2 and the scout. I did go threw a few pages of old threads but didnt find much on pistol stats, found more about broken speicals . One last thing could you pls state if it is sliced or unsliced...thanks

The stats on your Fwg5 are pretty good, but I would get it sliced as soon as possible (I recommend this for all weapons of course).

Currently I use a Fwg5 as my main pistol, with my backup being a Scout. The reasons I don't use a Dx2 are twofold. One, the AP1 doesn't work on it, so no bonus damage. This makes it do less damage per second than a Scout or Fwg5, especially since it is very difficult to get the resources to craft a decent Dx2 with stats comparable to a Fwg5. It also is highly inacurrate unless you're at point blank range. The only reason I would use a Dx2 is if the target had high resist in both Heat and Energy damage.

Thanks for the response...I just got another fwg5 with 197 as max dmg...after i got it sliced on dmg and bought some 33% max dmg power ups i have a pistol with a max dmg over 300...its sweet, lovin this profession so far, met a guy who did stopping shot on a creature for 2.1k and then he did it to me in pvp and it hit me for 476 dmg. I

You have no problems because, based on your post, you're a smart player ... and you're generally fighting players who are not so smart. You're using sliced, powered up, Krayt-enhanced weapons against fools who are using unsliced crap.

If you go up against players who are equally smart with other weapons, you'll run into some trouble. My sliced, powered up, Krayt-enhanced carbine is insane ... and my Krayt LLC is as fast as my Scatter Pistol, no kidding. But very few folks are using weapons that good.
