Roaming the desert I saw a name that struck terror in many men.He tried to trick me by changing his last name, but his phony costume. and his stench gave him away.I caught him in the deserts of tatooine. He wasn't in a cave, he wasn't even in hiding.. he was in the middle of nowhere. He wasn't alone either.He had a few lackey with him. I quickly disposed of him and his lackey. I slaughtered him not for just our Country, but for PISTOLEERS all around the world. This is for you guys!

Did they put a cap on stopping shot? Since the big patch I haven't been able to hit as hard as befor.The SS of my doing the 3.4k+ dmg was pre-patch.It could of been that that the target was knocked down...but I always thought that the extra damage you get from target being KD was over the head and not in combat window.Someone care to enlighten me?Am I just insane?

Also, I never posted SS's before..so I hope the link works.-DP

Holy smoke's !

thats about 1.2k more damage than i have ever done in pve !

That has to be a loot made pistol i have 30% slices to damage and use 30& power ups and have never broke 2k in pve

far as i know stopping shot has never had KD attached to is or any special effect just random pool damage

I know stopping shot has never had an effect/KD. Maybe i didn't make it clear...I meant maybe since the target was KDed the damage was that high.Since the patch, I don't use KD anymore. So I was bascially asking if target is KD, does the extra damage appear in the window or just overhead? If its in window, that explains why my damage was high. If its overhead... then it means that Stopping shothas notbeen doing the damage as it did pre-patch...-DP

I'm pretty sure it appears in the window. some shots that normally hit for 600 showed up as 1000+ today on KD targets, so I'm pretty sure, others can certainly confrim it.

Ah, thanks Jaegen. Yeah it seems to make sence, because pre-patch i'd hit 3k+ alot of the time after opening up with DS2(kd).Now I think my closest to that is 2.6k

(lets not forget kiddies, this is random pool damage so its near worthless).-DP

Stopping shot is pretty much a waste of time. The maximum damage i've done in PvE with stopping shot was 1500. Considering it's:

A)General

B)Delays next attack

You might as well use double tap. You're looking at 200-800dmg in pve, no delay and less HAM costs.

Heck, fan shot is useless too, uses way more HAM then double tap but does the same damage and is slightly slower.

Double tap is far lower for a pistoleer to get then stopping shot and fan shot, but either way double tap is probably the best attack.

well.. what ever it is that DilatedPeoples spams hits for about 600 - 800 DMG in pvp.. so x4 would be 2400 - 3200..

so, very believeable....
