Well after last night I finally finished the Techniques line and made Fan Shot and I must say im not really impressed. Unless im missing something isnt Fan Shot just basically the same as Double Tap with a small damage increase? As a pistoleer I must say that the more I level up the more ive been dissapointed. When I first reached Pistoleer I was all excited because I got out of that lame Marksman tree that everyone and there brother was in. My first goal was to climb the tree to get BS3 since 2 was such an improvement over 1 however just before I took the first branch in that line I realized that with the small increase in damage and huge increase in delay (going by what ive read) that its not the tree to start on and I should go the Techniques line for Stopping and Fan shot. As ive moved up and finally got Stopping shot I must say at first I was impressed with the damage it could dish, but the delay and random pool hitting really turned me off on it and I hardly ever use it.

Onward to Fan shot. as I read that this is similiar to stopping in damage with a much smaller delay I was excited to get it as well and its much better delay is nice, however once again the random pools and no other real benefit have really disappointed me for a special that finishes out a branch and costs well over 1 million XP itself to get. I guess what im really trying to find out from the pistoleer community, does anyone else feel the same way about this as I do? Am I missing something? and is it possible that they (devs) might give us a boost and maybe fix a couple of our moves or give us moves that are useful? I like pistoleer, I like using pistols and I really dont want to give up skills I took so long to earn and start something else. Thoughts?????

If you dont like fan shot, drop pistoleer. Its the best we got.

As far as a minimul increase over double tap, I do 800-1200 with fan, short delay, mostly health.I like it. I made master yesterday, and its still my main choice.

Fan Shot is worse than kip up shot from marksman, and it's usually worse at killing things than bodyshot because it's random HAM. I'm not a huge fan of it.

And yes, it's basically all we've got.
