Thanks to a big assist by Pistoleer Corespondant Jaegen88, as well as the data collected by Yeti, I've compiled a little accuracy graph. This graph is NOT based on test data. It is a graph of how accurate pistols SHOULD BE at their listed ranges according to the stats LISTED ON THE PISTOLS. Obviously Accuracy + skill mods aren't factored here, but they ought to be constant.
I'm trying to determine if the numbers listed in the game have ANY BEARING AT ALL on how accuracy really works. Anyhow, here's the graph, and a big thanks to Yeti for collecting the data and Jaegen88 for letting me know about the work he did.

Well, I dont like how Scatter and Launcher are on there since they aren't ours- but I guess that can be good to show as a comparison.
I would really like more than DX2 and FWG5 on there for us, even though those are the 2 most popular weapons- not to make you do any more work than you already have
If you need assistance just ask.

Not at all. This chart was originally just one for general weapons. But I am actually ALREADY working on one that just charts the Pistoleer guns. Heh.

I think this is a great chart. Can you add the Scout as well? That's often used as a general weapon as well.

A question, though. My data lists the SR Combat and the Tangle as having a MAX RANGE of 48. Does this mean they they come up as "out of range" beyond 48 or that after 48 it's the SAME bad accuracy?

You are correct, at 48meters + a SR Combat pistol won't fire. You will get a "Target out of range" message.

Had a weird experience last night. I was destroying a lair after killing all the NPC's. I was running around the lair in a circle between 5-10m and using a power5, I'm also a master pistoleer. The little accuracy adjuster score above my target was staying at -50 even though I was just 10m away and it was a non-moving target.

Nice work
I posted some pistol information and a graph showing the accuracies for all of our pistols a couple weeks ago in this thread:
http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=pistoleer&message.id=8524
It is important to note that accuracy (for non-broken guns) depends upon the ideal range accuracy modifier, which is what can change with better components or a scope during crafting. So these numbers are not 100% certain. You could find a gun of a specific type that is better or worse. But I tried to get all the values at the same time from a master smith using good resource and components, so that hopefully they compare well with each other. I also didn't use models with scopes on them, which can help a bit.
