I've resorted to posting our issues, at least the summary page and some helpful tips on testing, on the general discussion. I know you don't all read general discussion, I use to not either. Then we figured out that profession forums are for, well, sure as heck aren't read by developers/designers.

Please check it out and get some volume out there.

The way I see it, I should not bother to pay attention to anything until what we've done is fixed, that is, what we've done over the past few months with no real responses. I get so frustrated every time I read the forums now, it just should not be this way. I spend half my in game time talking people into giving it a little longer, but I'm losing faith in that.Then I read good contributers on the forum quitting, because they are being ignored and are paying to play a broken game. Unfortunate, really, it is. It IS just a game, but it's a frustrating one to be sure.

Even depressed by Pistoleer, I can't leave the only Profession with a so good correspondant.

Going there for AoE Cold Humor...

Based on what happened as a result of that thread, I can tell you that this is a good tactic for Pistoleers. Holo emerged from hiding and finally hit the designers up for some answers, which he then shared with us.

However, just to let you know, it took five days and 1,010 posts on the thread to get a response.

Also, based on that campaign, I was temporarily banned from the SWG forums.

Holo, you certainly seem to be hiding from Smugglers.

You "lose" our correspondent update, you ignore the fact that almost nothing in our profession works, and now you close a thread where we've been trying to get some answers?

If you don't want to be called out for hiding, don't avoid the tough issues. This is one such issue.

As soon as I was banned (along with several others who had been clamoring for Smuggler information), Holo emerged and gave us the information we had been asking for. Of course, I wasn't able to see it until later. But at least we finally got the Devs' attention.

So I wish you the best of luck - partly because I'm a Pistoleer and i want this resolved, but also because Dev silence is hurting this game and we need to wake them up.

I agree with you 100%, electric. This is a VERY smart tactic by Jaegen. Holo only reads SWG Discussion, and if a thread gets a jillion responses and he gets a ton of PMs, eventually he reads it and you get some sort of response.

Yes, it's stupid that SOE works this way. But that's how it works, and we need to use the system just like the other professions.

I've been sending Holo and Q personal messages every other day for about 10 days now. I'm also including links to Jaegen's summary pages. This really may be ineffective, but it makes me fell better...

Actually Philo, Holo has said he HATES SWGiscussion and wish they didn't have it. He likes the profession boards a lot more because they are usually more civil(and they are), but for whatever reason he never GOES to them to check things out-unless a thread is forwarded by the mods.

Anyways, still posting my support as the mods are in Discussion more, and they're the ones that forward the threads.

Good job jimm. Your posts helped get Holo over to Jaegen's thread, and kept Jaegen's thread bumped. Glad you were around to help.
