First off, let me congradulate you on what you have been able to accomplish in the last day. You must have gone to bed with a huge smile on your face--finally finding justification for your hard work. Congrats.

Now for my suggestion:

Holo said earlier that only a few people were authorized to speak directly to the public, which I can understand, im assuming that the pistoleer designer is not one of them since we have only heard from him through Holo. I would ask that you push to trade emails with the pistoleer designer with the agreement that you would not publish any comments he makes to you. This way they avoid the PR dangers of letting him talk to the public but at the same time he maintains a very constructive conversation with a member that seems to have a very good grasp of how the pistoleer is working in practice. I think a connection of this nature should really be followed in all the proffessions, since Im a pistoleer I suggest it here first. I hope things continue to progress forward.

A side note, I would ask all pistoleers to control flaming and critizism of other proffessions onbalance and otherwise, we (all proffessions) are more or less in the same boat and should encourage eachother in our quests to get things fixed. We can worry about balance when the proffessions are "working as intended," doing so before that happens is like trying to balance a scale with sand constantly pouring on the other side. A waste of time untill the amount of sand is constant.
