Okay .. read several posts responding to designer comments of 9/16 but can't find the actual designer comments. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Well, I'll try and be unusually optimistic here and say that I'd rather wait a day or two for them to really understand things and find good fixes, and that I'd rather hear no news than bad news.
But back to reality - I think it would be a good idea to keep that thread bumped so they don't forget about it.
