Ok so my friend is a BH 0-4-4-3 and we would always hunt together. I was a pistoleer 1-1-1-1 heading up the pistoleer tree. Well we were talking about speed, etc and my friend had tons of pistol exp saved up since he was maxed and he also had 200k combat exp maxed. He hadn't really decided on what to spend his extra 33 points on so one night he was like screw it, i'll get pistoleer. So he got pistoleer 0-0-0-2. (with his combat exp) His speed is like 97 or something now and its crazy. He has a decent scatter pistol and all of his shots are 1 second in between. His normal shots and also his torso shots. Every torso shot he was firing was doing between 7-900 every 1 second. It was crazy. When i Saw this i grinded some exp for a week or so and got novice bh 0-0-2-0 atm. I'm def. gonna get bh 0-0-4-0 and try and master most of pistoleer depending on how much medic skills I wanna give up.

Yep, this is the smart way to go.

There is nothing in the Pistoleer tree that is worthwhile right now. If you want to use a pistol, just get the BH pistol line and a couple of boxes for the speed.

Sad, but true.

Agreed about BH mods stacking w/ Pistol and Carbine mods. I have no prob with BH mods stacking w/ marksman mods.

I was also looking into this path as well...however i feel the BH pistol speed mods should be reversed with the pistoleers.

Even pure BH hope they will change speed mods (and accuracy ones) because they hate how some Dabblers are calling themselves BH just being Pistol 4.

Everyone is stating it (but dabblers, of course) and still nothing is done.

Yes Philosopher, sad but true.

Let's hope will see the light and change the way speed works with weapons. Have gain be linear, not exponentials, and only then will it be possible to balance anything with regards to weapons.

i have been advocating making the bh + mods unique and non stackable with other wpn mods for a long time. its the first small step that needs to be taken toward better over-all balance in this game.

What's with you all dabbler haters, the second you all master all your classes you can advocate that. I don't see Doctors complaining that Mr Pistoleer can cure 500 health with Stim Bs at novice medic. If I or anyone else want to spend 100 points to get novice BH for some speed we deserve it, if you want to dabble into artisan or medic or carbines, that's your call, but those are all abilities you gain that we cannot do. This is a skillpoint/class based game, EVERYONE dabbles, get it through to your head.

To the original post, I suggest you use Stopping Shot instead. While Torso Shot is nice it misses too often and Stopping Shot has quite bit higher DPS (though random pool).
