The samething all over.......
A hunting Party, maybe to the Tatooine Squill cave?
1 word....snorbals. Thank the force for these wonderful creatures that so willingly give their lives to help me level. First of all they are on LOK and lookkinda like mutated elephants. Anyways, you will need to look for them because, since the last patch, I don't believe you can get any new snorbal missions. Perhaps you can, I just haven't seen any. Now, only shoot the Females or Calves. If you shoot the males, the whole pack will agro. However, thebest thing about these animals is they don't DB so really, the trick is to get incapped in the right place (far enoughaway from their lair so they don't immediately reagro when you wake up....but not sofar that you lose sight of them and they heal/regen/respawn...whatever.
Now, start at 64m out and drop your HS1 and 2. Repeat until you are satisfied with the damage that will be deducted with each bleed. I'm usually able to get 300+ with HS1 and 500+ with HS2 and I'm a 0/1/3/1 pistoleer. All this time watch the range closely. When they get within 25-30m hit the autorun (not burst) button, mine is numlock. Now, run around avoiding the agroes until you shoot/bleed the snorbal to death and be sure to harvest the meat.
Because LOK has many, many agroes that random spawn, you might need to clear your running path before starting. If one get's too close, fire about 2 warning shots to back it off. But becareful, spamming WS can make the creature flee before it dies with 0 xp for that. The snorbals will usually stop persuing you as they get down to about 1/10 HAM....maybe less, so be watching. Close in for the kill.
I think the Mature Females were giving me about 3.5k xp each and the Elder Females were about 3.9k xp each. The males give over 4k but you gotta be ready for all the other males and any females that have respawned to attack you. Yeah, it's funny to have 5 or6 of them chasing you but I've found that's not really the best way because youcan miss some of the harvests.
I was able to get about 60k pistol xp in just under an hour today but I wasn't really keeping track of the time. It could have been +/- 15mins or so. Don't really know. These wonerful beasts respawn fairly quickly too and give nice quantities of organics. And with no DB, you just gotta love them. Anyways, I hope this helps. Good luck.
Stack bleeds and chop away at the health bar. A nest and all its spawns will net you about 15k xp and you don't need to be an almost master to pull it off.
