Assuming you only had the points to get one of those two, which would you get?

Tough choice. Neither one is worth the bother right now unless you have over +74 pistol speed and a very fast pistol besides. Just put your skill points somewhere elsefor now.

Thing is, I'm going master CH and Ranger. I have enough points left over to get novice pistoleer +the first 3 skills in one tier. Which means Body Shot 3, or Stopping Shot.

In my opinion get 3 of the pistoleer speed boxes then and use kipup/roll shots and bodyshot2. Its all I use anyway

I'm currently using a DX2 pistol, 110-183 damage, speed of 2.6... and my pistol speed mod is +30, do I really need the extra +18 I'll get for the pistol speed boxes?

Combat XP goes up sooooooooo slow...

Absolutely worth it. Those measly +18 will net you an additional 35% more Damage per Second. The math isn't intutive, so many people don't realize the benefit as you get each +6 speed.

I would certainly not recommend putting them in either of those two skills. If you're so turned off of combat xp, put them in Marksmanship for the time being. You'll get more out of it than in BS3 or Stopping Shot.
