Thread: Is AP truly broken or does it make sense?

Well people consider the fact that you dont get the 25% dmg bonus on a dx2 if they're vulnerable to it with no resists a broken aspect. But is it? If you look at real AP rounds, they actually do less damage to a target without armor. It is designed to pierce, then spread. If there is no armor it makes a tiny little hole in the target doing much less damage than if there was armor.
So is this a feature purposely created for realism?

No all the other guns like laser rifles and laser carbines AP works fine
