I have been having incredible success with this technique. The XP I am gaining isfasterthan the pre-nerf pistol whip. Basically as a non CH I use a simple Rock Beetle with light armor. I send him into a group of mobs, let him get total agro then spam fanshot and everything is dead rather quickly. Except for having to switch targets occasionally and stim myself for action this is almost non-stop. If the group of mobs is near the lair, the lair is also getting blasted, and for some reason the mobs that emerge from the lair go after the Rock Beetle instead of me, even though I am the one actually damaging the lair. Since I am using high end advanced pistols the damage I am doing is very high, and the mobs are almost always dead before the Rock Beetle.

Since the Rock Beetles Ham is only a little over 2K I can stim him full with only a few stims, and I am ready to do it again. Almost no downtime. For pure experience grinding you cannot beat this technique.
