I too have a macro question similar to yours. Instead of making a new thread I'm putting it here.

Just made novice Pistoleer and was tyring to make a macro tht would just fire HealthShot1 and HealthShot2.

I typed:

/healthshot1;

/healthshot2

When I try to use it, HealthShot2 Spams my entire combat que. What am I doing wrong?

no /pauses.

and put a ; after BOTH lines.

The last thing you should be typing with ANY macro is asemicolon on the last line.It lets the swg brain know that you wish to keep things flowing.

Hi folks, I'm, to put it bluntly, useless at writing macros. But I can apreciate their handyness. Therefore, I want you to tell me how I'd do this, and use it as a learning experiance.

My aim: To press one button and use aim, health shot 1, health shot 2 and then peace.

Why? well I'm training for commando and using this macro means I can then attack something with a grenade and get full combat xp and no pistol xp, a bonus for the commando prerequisites. However, I dont know how to write this.

What I've tried:

/aim;/healthShot1;/healthShot2/peace

/aim;/pause 2;/healthShot1;/pause 2/healthShot2;/pause 2;/peace

Neither of these are giving me the desired result. Can any of you guys help me out a little bit please? My desire is not to have my pistol firing at all besides the two shots, and as it's a 1.0 speed pistol, it's hard to manually do this constantly (if the creature gets hit by even one non-drain pistol shot, I lose a lot of xp) and a macro, i believe is the only way to do this.

Much appreciated,

Kutsu

Those will work exactly the same way.

Usually, the first attack in the macro will not appear in the combat queue, but it does occur (at least that is the way it works for me). I'm not sure on the timer for "aim" though, that may be giving you some problems.

Do you really need "aim"? I find it's just as good to stop, drop to one knee, wait two or three seconds and then fire my Health Shot 1 & 2 combo. I make both hits ~90% on average...
