Thread: Is it me or is Armor Piercing now working right??????

I am novice commando, BH and pistoleer... I have used DX2, Laser carbine, ee3 carbine, scatter, FWG5, launcher pistol, LLC and Flamethrower..
Half of these have AP : light and the other half do not.
Yet i seem to see the Same damage no matter what i fight on all the above weapons... AND the ones with AP do not out perform the ones without AP on anything.. FT=LLC in damage..... FWG5 > Scatter???
and the Laser > EE3.
I am confused.. is this a bug.. is this not ever been right? or am i just wrong somehow on how this works? I dont see a 25% bonus on anything with NONE AP while using a AP1 or higher weapon.. nor do i see a decrease in damage while using a NONE AP weapon on a Light or higher AP value mob.

Couple things:
First, I'm not sure where you are looking to see damage. The damage in your combat window is raw damage. To see the effect of armor, armor piercing, and resists, you have to look at the number floating above your target's head, or do a before and after mouse over on your target's HAM and subtract.
Second... yes, there is a bug with armor piercing. For all weapons and damage types, if your target is vulnerable to your weapon's damage type, it acts like AP0 vs AR0 - you lose any bonus you should have gotten from the AP of your weapon.
