Big drop in damage from a Krayt Scatter to a Tangle (how many tissues for a Krayt tangle?). Plus, can't you kite someone with a Tangle, if you stay between 48 and 64m out? Furthermore, can't you get a stun layer on composite (adding to the already outrageous encumberance)?

Heh, mind encumbrance is easy to work around for a human.

Get entertainer buffs if you need to. For helms, its all about resistance and not about encumbrance At least for us pistoleers.

You can't put a krayt in a tangle pistol (no blaster power handler). You can put in a high velocity projectile feed, but that's only a +20 max dmg with no speed boost (And tangles are VERY slow).

However, I know one armorsmith who likes to include 4% stun protection on his composite, making a tangle kinda worthless.
