Could someone, anyone, who knows SWG better than i do tell me how the game will apply my +119 pistol speed? Is it useless if i'm using an FWG5 "capped" at 1.0 speed? Or is +pistol speed skill applied on top of whatever weapon you are using? If that is so, theoretically someone with +0 pistol speed could fire my gun at the same speed as i do. Any comments on this subject would be appreciated.

you could be using a 4 speed FWG 5 with a +100 speed and you'd shoot 1 shot per second no matter what special you use. Anything over 100 speed is wasted.

Dilune, what's the formula for figuring this? What I'm hearing you say is that I might be wasting money on super fast pistols, especially as I near MP.

your speed is a % reduction and it caps at 1 second. I'm not good at the formulas, but basically, if you have +100 speed you have a 100% speed reduction. You fire one shot per second. Even at +95 you are so close to that cap that it hardly matters.

And yes, if you have high speed then your weapons speed is negligible. A 10 speed rifle and a 1 speed pistol fire at one shot per second (regardless of the special used) if both wielders have +100 speed.

which basically states that if your pistol speed = 100, reguardless of your weapon speed, you shoot very second

this include using speicals. ie a bh dabbing pistol stance IIIand dirty fighting IV with 100+ pistol speed using a pistol with 5 delay will spam last ditch (x4 delay mod) every second
