Thread: Just cancelled...

I just cancelled SWG...spent a month getting my pistoleer to 1-4-4-3...wasted my time.

I wish all of you luck who stick around. For me originally the grind was just the tedious road to getting master pistoleer and whatever professions I dabbled in to augment my character (scout exploration, medic, etc...). That grind has become more work than tedium, and I just don't have the patience for it. I'm being perfectly honest when I say that almost every PVP situation I have encountered in the past 2 weeks ended with Eyeshot spamming. I do wear a helmet, and I use stimpacks, and it's depressing. I took Master Marksman for the extra Pistol bonuses, and a good portion of scout for PvE. I thought many times about going for BH, but what's the point really. I was 2 survival boxes away at one point, with plenty of combat experience to spare and 550k pistol exp, but I didn't go through with it. Go read the BH board and see what they say about "our 217 skill points." It takes somerandom skills to reach Novice, good for them, there's a reason why most overts I see running around have the "Expert Bounty Hunter" title aboved their head. It's BS, Bounty Hunters know it's BS, and everyone else knows it's BS. Take away Eyeshot from BHs and you have a character just as useful as a Pistoleer.

BHs claim to be "made to fight 1v1", so why the hell would someone be anything but a Bounty Hunter. Once you master your professions and use all your skill points PVP is the only thing left for you in this game. Why go into PVP when it is supposedly the realm of Bounty Hunters. Most BHs with Medic dabbling can outheal my damage as the Eyeshot me.

Becoming a Novice BH is not hard at all, just boring. Many people will put up with the boring waste of time to become a BH so they can be competitive in PVP. Once again, they have my support, butthe PVP in this game has about as much depth as a game of Pong against a child with a learning disability. Spam whatcha got.

I want to find out how long until they delete your character when you cancel. I'm tempted in cancelling then possibly coming back in a 2-3 months.

please give a break to DeadNewbie...he's actually in my Pa and he's a good mature player..and you can't really blame him for asking Drik to give his stuff..

after all Drik decided to leave the game and I don't see why not get the things he is not using anymore..it's useless to him so instead of loosing them why not give them so they might be of use for someone else...

maybe you think we should convince Drik to stay...but again I say NO..he decided to leave..he's a big boy (big girll maybe ) and took his decision after much thnking I am sure..

"NERF THE DANCERS"...funny how you never see anyone say that

If it's stupid but it works, then it's NOT stupid
Why is it that in every movie they always find a parking spot exactly in front of the building they want to go to, while I always have to park 3 blocks away?

When you turn over your items, once your character goes, so do the items.

Only money is fully transferable under those circumstances.

Um. So if a crafter cancels what happens to all the stuff they made?

The items that are purchased through the system remain, everything given as a gift goes bye bye.

So we get around this by me setting up a vendor and he offers things to me at 1 credit each? Super! Let's get started.

I think Deadnewbie aim is more to point out how stupid cancelling an acount right now can be thant to get free stuff.

For sure Pistoleers are in a sad situation but it won't last long, just try to be patient.

Some of you people really disgust me. I mean I really feel for this guy as I too have spent alot of time and energy getting a crapload of combat exp for melee defense 1 and 2 and I too am totally mad at SOE for making that line of skills a steaming pile of dog crap. The only thing that stinks more is people with attitudes like this jerk Deadnewbie. I only hope someday you get totally jacked and people turn to you and say haha can I have your stuff now that you're gone? You really seem like a heartless **edit** and any PA that would have someone like you in it must really be desperate for people. God only knows I wouldn't give you the time of day or even stop my car if I saw you crossing the highway. Go back to whatever stone it is you crawled out from if you have nothing constructive to say you POS cockroach.

As for SOE's vision for SWG all I can see is 10,000 bounty hunters running around all proclaiming their utter uberness while the few people that work just as hard and pay just as much but don't jump onto the BH bandwagon just so they can feel good about themselves sit in mediocrity and eventually wake up and decide that this game sucks and there's alot more out in the world than paying for a sadistic beating with some mega-corporate nerf stick every time they turn around. I haven't cancelled my account yet, but I probably will soon and no Deadnewbie you idiot you can't have my stuff either you peon. Go ahead and flame away I really don't give a s*it anymore.
