I have found a funny bug lastnight, a friend of mine has been using his FWG5 for long time, it's durability finally hit rock bottom to 0/858. we moved on doing missions, and the durability went even lower to -14/858.

now this is what happened. he gave me the pistol since i had the 50% repair kit, and i try to fix it, and crud! the durability went down even lower to -400/858! ouch!

my point is, i don't think the weapon repair kit knows the value of positive and negative. it just UPed the numbers of the way the weapon's durability was currently at during the repair.

if, it's 1/900, it'll up to to 450/900. but if it's -1/900, it'll *up* it up -450/900 instead of changing the value back to positive state.

Devs, please look into this and fix this problem.

I think this problem might happen to all other weapons not just pistols.

did this happen to anyone else out there? shoot me a reply =)

Never let your armor or weapons get to 0. Once you do they will go to the negative when fixed. Not sure if this was intentional or not. But all you need to do is keep an eye on them.

i'm quite sure that it wasn't intentional. think about it, it'd be very stupid for a "weapon repairkit" to break what needs to be repaired? heh... it's a bug i say =)

Question: When an item reaches 0 what happens to it's prior capabilities?

Everyone should /bug that IMO.

It's common to all weapons, my friend has a spraystick with negative condition.

This bug has been around for weapons and armor since the beginning of the game. If your spending 15k+ for a weapon, don't let it get to 0.
