So, there we have it. Nothing was nerfed...those were only fixes and corrections, minus any compensation of course.

Well, since it's not exactly clear which part of "That" he means, has anybody seen Disarming Shot do either of these two things: Damage a weapon or disarm the player?
I have read that people reported a 1 or 2 point decrease in the weapon's condition, but this could be just because of player use- or if it is from the pistoleer, woopie two points!

I have never heard of DS disarming a player though. Not once, and Jaegen and the like do lots of tests. Has anyone seen or experianced this? Maybe it is broken vs players but works vs NPC's?

Given that I don't think 1 single person in all of SWG knows exactly what Disarmshot odes, or is supposed to do, Holo is probably the only one who can answer your excellent question.

Well if you haven't noticed... none of the devs have ever actually played this game. All their data comes from tracking various things. Like people are leveling up too fast... solution increase mob strength. People are still leveling up too quickly... solution increase mob strength. Even tho one of the main reasons for this was probably knockdown. So people then complain about knockdown and they use various ways to make it less effective. Even tho mob strength was upped twice basically because of knockdown and now most everything hits like crazy and bafs so it's almost impossible for a higher level character to solo anything anymore. Take a quick look at the patch notes and notice how many small things were sup'd to be changed and are still the same as they were... like cost on knockdown moves.



I won't go into the whole bit about how everything they put in the game that's not well thought out on their part ends up being called an exploit.... like the talk about how medics used to be able to heal mind damage but they found it was easily exploited. Duh... if you make a class that can use mind to heal action/health damage but can also heal mind damage sure they can heal all day long but how is that an exploit... It's just the devs trying to pass the blame on their poor planning methods.

So it is true. Jeez Holo will never read this post nor do any devs... god if they took the time to listen... my god. To other posts but the one he posts... Pistoleers HAVE NO EXPLOITS YOU DOLT! We are BROEKN! **edit**ing piece ofdnkwe **edit** him. God makes you almost want to quit the game but that would do nothing. I am going to stick aroun and fight!

Yes, HoloFool thinks Disarm is actually working! Holy mother jesus...Can someone that actually plays Master Gunfighter tell me what the hell Disarm actually do? Because I can't get it to do crap!

I have frequently tried to be mature. I hope I don't get banned for this, maybe I won't type the whole thing out but here goes...

Sorry for that little outburst, but it had to be said. Exploit my left (pick a part). I worked my (insert another part here) to get to novice. I was 2 boxes into marksman before I even realized what stopping shot or warning shot did, before they were nerfed, and not once did I consider either an exploit since they still didn't hit or succeed all the time. Warning shot never worked on high level mobs. I got to where I am today (marks 0/4/0/4 pistol 0/4/0/4) BY RUNNING TO AND FRO FOR DAYS ON END AND AM STILL NOWHERE NEAR MASTER. And I have played since day one fairly frequently. It took me a LONG TIME TO GET PISTOL 4 IN MARKS SINCE GORGS COULD STILL KILL ME.


ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

No wonder the dev's nerfed our accuracy into oblivion, they don't want us coming after them and actually being able to hit anyting.

This thread made some great points.


The Devs don't play the game because it's too boring and tedious and takes too many hours to reach the high levels. They have a job to do instead (Oh yeah so do the rest of us). If any devs do play the game they probably use exploits to make themselves powerful players so they can "test" things out without actually being forced to work for it.


The only thing the Devs care about is how fast we level. The nerf EVERYTHING, because they want the game to take a long, long time. They envision people gathering into large groups and taking 30 minutes to fight red mobs that give 500xp each, and kill half the group. They want us to do this same thing every day for a year before we reach the master levels because they think that's fun. They also want all solo players to die anytime we fight anything stronger then the creatures right outside the newbie cities because they think forced grouping is also fun.


This is why they Nerf Nerf Nerf and don't fix broken stuff. Because fixing broken things = leveling faster while Nerfing = leveling slower. They are completely paranoid that we will max out our characters and realize there is no content in the game and PvP is completely broken/pointless. They think if we are kept busy leveling for ever we'll never find out how boring the game actually is. They are wrong.
