Thread: Pistoleer Dodge working! Or is it melee defense?
Hoi!
Yesterday on Lok I died, cloned at the cloning centre, only to face an aggro Nym elite guard (red con to me) who was led to the clone centre by an unnamed idiot. Well, I quickly decided to fight (didnt have much choice anyway) and hoped that I'll wear the 10000HAM mob in about 25-50 clones. To my absolute suprise,my pistoleer dodged or avoided9 out of 12 Nym's melee attacks, and I killed him with lucky Stopping Shots to the red bar.
Oh, I was at 222 strength, 178 mindwounds, which prevented me wearing my composite suit.
Could the Pistoleer Correspondent (I hope you're making decent corresponding exp man, what tier are you on btw?) check if the dodge is working? Or did I just have the luckiest streak in the galaxy since Han won the heap of junk he calls his ship from Lando ina game of Sabbac?
If it matters, I was wielding a dmg sliced dx2, wearing white pants and white shirt slotted with +1 Battle Fatigue Healing tape.

However, this also applied to me when i was just a pure smuggler. The dodge was working then too and that would be just a melee defence dodge, but i also have a ranged defence 3 clothing mod and so blasters were hitting less too as i rolled around while kneeling.
