Thread: I think people are forgetting that a Pistol is the weakest thing for a reason
Guys, did I just read a big in depth post about Damage Per Second with a PISTOL compared tofreakin FLAMETHROWER???

you guys are scaring me here. If you expected to enter the Pistoleer profession and come out on top in terms of POWER, your just a complete fool. A pistol is the weakest weapon you can have, that is why it is the fastest weapon in the game....
How is this hard to understand?
All of us knew that this was the weakest weapon when we joined the profession. But, like you, we also thought it was the FASTEST, to make up for it.
Unfortunately, thanks to the bugged way that speed is handled in the game, we don't have a speed advantage. So we're left with low powered weapons that aren't faster than the more powerful ones.

seriously read some of the pistoleer posts, yes even the sticky about speed. thenremove head from can and start looking into some of the pistoleers actual problems and you will be highly surprised at how broken pistoleer is. or make a new charecter try it out for a few weeks, youll see.

I'm a master pistoleer and I see nothing BROKEN about my skills.
I just find it strange how Stopping Shot doesn't atleast stun...
After that...you know I would love to have a mind shot or something of that nature but considering how exploitable it is for Bounty Hunters, I would hate for this profession to get looked at with more interest by the developers. Because when it comes to PvE we are the best class there is.

No kidding? Try firing one of those two specials you get at Master, then. How do they work for you?
