As the dev's fumble to balance out all the classes against eachother, what do you think this class's role should be?

Along with Carbineers and Rifleman. You all should be the backboneof the GCW. Second only to Commandos while fighting for whichever side you fight for.The Elites balanced with eachother but each having it's own strength and disadvatanges.Thats just my opinion though.

Pistoleers, Carbineers and Riflemen are all essential Group Fighters, in PvE or PvP.


Your skills should complement Carbineers and Riflemen to create a strong squad/platoon.

Almost every hero in the movies carried a pistol, including Luke. Thats the role we play. The "you thought we couldn't do it" role. And if the Devs don't fix us, we'll be really good at Russian Roulleete.

BTW, Pistoleers / Riflemen and Carbineer SHOULD BE the best Pistol Wielders, Rifle Wielder and Carbine Wielder in the game, not some lesser users to Comandos / Smuggler and BH.


Just my opinion btw.

Right now we are the Hunters of the game.


Doing 1200 damage Fan shots with a 1.0 delay is sweet, but too bad it doesnt work too well in PvP.


We just piss people off in groups since we suck up all the experience.

Our role is to be the excuse for other classes to be fixed faster and to be more powerful, regardless if it is true or not.

Without us, combat classes would have nothing to compare themselves to. What kind of world would it be if Commandos asked only to be more powerful than architects, and Bounty Hunters wanted just to be able to kill Surveyors?

We are the class that makes class balance happen! We're go-getters, level headed, and calm in a sea of screaming chaos. Humble enough to stand quietly and let others cut in front of us in line while also stepping on our toes and punching us in the gut. We're so tough that we don't even NEED those abilities or skill mods...we pack a PISTOL! And not hidden in a holster like some pansy, we'll carry it out in the open full time- just to let people know... "I suck".

man, i dont know what most of you are talking about, what are we here for? although the moving targets comment was funny, it has a point. i think pistoleer is the best for 1v1. most other classes have to stand still to get anything that resmebles good aim, meanwhile i run back and fourth like mad about 20 m away *FWG5* blasting, making a moving target much harder to hit. grab an MK3 with 50 percent against energy and just laugh at headshot 3.


perhaps there are other issues, but theres only one guy who i fail to kill every time i run into him, and he too is a master pistoleer
