Pistoleer Archive

My question is, If I had both professions Master and I'm using my pistol to hunt, will I still have the 20+ on dodge (Fencer) on my pistoleer? I mean will it work even though Im not fighting with a sword? Will fencer mods help me out if I choose to only use pistoleer? I mean the 40+ knockdown/posture change will only help me right?

Or does the mod only work for there Class? I need to know.
