Pistoleer Archive

As you may or may not have read your most recent patch to the Pistoleer profession has upset MANY people. I am a Master Pistoleer and I personally find the profession almost useless.

I am not going to sit here and compare them to other professions and talk about how grossly overpwoered some are. I just want the Master Pistoleer to mean something again. You hit us entirely too hard.

When I started this game I was filled with excitement to begin my journeys to Mastering some professions and being part of the Star Wars Universe. I pictured all of the gunfights that you watched in the movies and was really psyched about engaging in it myself. Now, the biggest part of the movies is ruined for me as the pistol fighting profession (Pistoleer profession wise) is not of anything of value to the gaming experience. I worked so hard without using one exploit (and reported everyone I saw after verifying them) only to lose what it was I was after. Frankly, I am feeling it to be much less like Star Wars and more like EQ with every patch you make.

So, I ask that teh Developers please make an effort and give us some feedback. I also ask that players put their thoughts and griefs about what has happened with this patch. Also, please don't hijack this thread with useless garble and keep all the posts constructive.

Im with you on this, Im master pistoleer and master architect, I have no skill points left to do more combat, and right now pistoleer sucks so much i can't even do the missions that the terminal gives me.

Another thing of significance that I wanted to mention is that all of these PvP fixes are affecting the ones that are more into the PvE experience. I do occansionally participate in Faction battles, but most of my time is PvE.

Yeah I hear ya, I think the changes that they have made have been to reactionary and have lacked thought, intelligence and appropriate testing.
